Incoming NRA President Oliver North reminds Americans that too many of our schools remain less protected than our sports stadiums and office buildings. This can’t last, and the NRA Foundation is committed to making a positive difference by offering financial assistance to schools across the country through our School Shield program.

The NRA School Shield program was launched in the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting, and it has the singular mission to protect children.

National School Shield

Announced in December 2012, the NRA School Shield program is focused on improving school security in an effort to help prevent national tragedies at educational institutions in America.
